Oops! This was missing from Friday's high school newsletter:
Congratulations to Bella Osgood and Stephen Emery on their acceptance into the New Hampshire All-State Music Festival! Bella will be singing soprano in the treble choir, and Stephen will be playing mallet percussion with the concert band. The festival will be held in Concord at the end of March. Way to go!
Our annual winter concerts are as follows: The choral concert will be on Wednesday, December 7. The band concert will be on Wednesday, December 14. Both concerts are at 6:00 PM at the opera house.
The chamber choir and select chorus students will sing carols downtown on Saturday, December 10 for the town's annual 'Twas Just Before Christmas Celebration. We will meet at 4:45 outside the opera house, and sing from 5:00-6:00 PM around downtown. This performance is mandatory for the chamber choir, and optional for chorus students.

There will be no after school activities or sporting events for Newport School District today December 1.

Happy Thanksgiving from our high school and tech center family to yours!
