On Wednesday, September 18, 2024 we had the 7th and 8th grade attend an assembly to kickoff the start of the GearUp program here at Newport Middle School.
This grant-funded program will be working with the classes of 2030 and 2029 (currently 7th and 8th grade) to provide resources, support, and opportunities for all students in those grades to achieve positive post-secondary incomes.
