Students district wide that ride bus 3 or 10 may be arriving home later than usual this afternoon. Please be patient and if you have any questions please contact your school.
Bus 3 and bus 10 will be running late for all students at all schools today, January 10, 2023. The Bus 10 route is estimating to be between 10 - 15 minutes behind and the Bus 3 route is estimated to be running 30 - 45 minutes behind. Please make sure your student is outside and waiting so we can minimize any further delays.

YOU'RE INVITED! Sign up to take a hair styling class just in time for the holiday season. Those who attend will have a fun night out and learn how to create complicated-looking styles in the most simplistic ways. There will be braids, buns, twists and rolls galore!

Students in the Culinary program at the SRVRTC in Claremont put on a lunch buffet for the public on Friday. The students showed off their skills with broccoli cheddar soup, ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, and holiday desserts. Reports are that it was delicious!

These events combine the fun and relaxation of a party with the challenge of a class. Guided by one of our floral students and advisers, you and your group will work at individual stations to create a masterpiece that is suitable for displaying at the office or in your home.
Newport’s FFA put on a workshop last night that was open to the public. They called it Design & Dessert. It was Thanksgiving themed and blueberry cobbler was served. There, participants got to make and take home Thanksgiving centerpieces.
Be on the lookout for more of FFA’s upcoming workshops!
On 12/5 they will be hosting a wreath or door swag workshop and on 12/13 they will be hosting a holiday centerpiece workshop.

THANK YOU to the Newport Fire Department and the SAU 43 Transportation Department for visiting Automotive Technology students with a fire truck, ambulance, and school bus. These vehicles are pretty different from those we typically see in the shop. It was a great experience!
It is that time of year again and we are here to offer support. The Newport School District would like to offer support to our families in need of a Thanksgiving Basket. If you are in need of a basket, please complete the form below. On November 15, we will reach out to schedule the delivery time. Then on November 18 or November 21, we will deliver your basket to your home. Yes, it is that easy.
